FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I BOOK?

If you wish to book simply fill out the contact form on our contact us page with a description of the hire items you are interested in. Please include your date and venue on the form. We will then respond with a detailed quote and proceed to send you an invoice and details for the deposit if you wish to go ahead with the booking.

WHAT REGION DO YOU COVER?

Based in Nottingham we primarily cover the East Midlands, however, we will travel nationwide subject to delivery charges. 

DO YOU CHARGE DELIVERY?

Our prices include delivery and collection charges for all venues within a 10 mile radius of our registered address (NG16 1HL) unless otherwise specified. For venues further than this a small delivery charge of 50p per mile may apply.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

Yes, we require a 25% deposit upon booking in order to secure the date. The remaining 75% is then due a minimum of 28 days prior to the wedding or event.

WILL DREAM WEDDINGS AND EVENTS SET UP THE ITEMS WE HIRE?

Yes. All of our prices include delivery, set-up, and collection.

WILL THE CHAIR COVERS FIT OUR CHAIRS?

Our lycra chair covers will cover the vast majority of chairs. We have worked at many venues and become familiar with the variations of most types of chairs. However, if we have not previously worked at your venue and there is any doubt whether or not the chair covers will fit after we have been given basic dimensions, we will arrange a trial fitting.

I WOULD REALLY LIKE CANDLES BUT MY VENUE DOESN'T ALLOW THESE, CAN YOU HELP?

Yes, we will change the candles to LED candles to suit the venue.

CAN I CONFIRM THE COLOUR SCHEME AT A LATER DATE?

Yes, the initial booking will secure your date. We will need final confirmation of colours and any final details 28 days before the wedding. We appreciate that your ideas may change and aim to accommodate this where possible.

ARE ALL YOUR ELECTRICAL ITEMS PAT TESTED?

Yes, all of electrical items are PAT tested regularly. A copy of the PAT test certificates can be sent to your venue upon request.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes, we have public liability insurance which will cover all the items during the hire period. A copy of our insurance can be sent to your venue upon request.

WHEN DOES MY BALANCE NEED TO BE CLEARED?

The final balance needs to be paid a minimum of 28 days prior to the wedding or event.

HOW LONG IS THE HIRE PERIOD FOR?

Our items are usually hired for approximately 24 hours. Depending on the venue and other bookings it may vary slightly.
